MAHI MAHI Diptych, Print on Plexi

80” Mahi Mahi Diptych, reproduction on acrylic glass panels, each measuring 30" H x 40" W, arrives with hardware on back ready to hang.  The next three images show the original artwork from which this rich and vibrant reproduction was made.

These panels are smooth and shiny, showcasing a flattened image rendition of the original’s very textured surface. The mother of this version pictured here in the last three images was a mixed media collage made with an original 4’ hand embellished Mahi Mahi on linen that was glued down on two colorful acrylic glass sheets. This repro is identical in size to the original .  Colorful hand and solar dyed swaths and strips of rayon and cotton playfully and artfully surround the fish and meld with ground.
